This is Zelda from Zelda: a link to the Past
Here is the first look at the Zelda cosplay I made in three days...lol.
I stated cutting on sunday and we had the photoshoot wednesday morning. woot.
I've had the fabric for this costume since 2005, it's the second fabric I ever bought for a costume. But I never managed to fit it into my schedule. GEEX's con is tomorrow and I needed a video costume that was comforable, this fit the bill. Besides, I really needed a break from intense costumes and detail, before I launch head first into finishing caterina, ranka and starting the Elementalist.
I am really pleased with how this costume turned out. It's so comfortable and It looks exactually how I wanted it too. I think the only thing I will change will be the wig, eventually. I just used a blonde wig I had on hand and while I like the color on me...it's not build to be condusive to this Zelda's style.
It's made from Blue Cotton Velvet 54" wide (6 yards) and White cotton/spandex blend 45" wide (9 yards) I love the weight and drape of the white, such and awesome random find!
