I had another journal entry here from like...March of last year? I think? From last year's summit finals. I'm not sure where it went? ah well.
Anyway! It's been ages DA. It's been ages and to be honest, my life is so 100% different it's hard to think it's only been a year. I'm not sure where to start.
Well, I guess the first and most important thing is that with all the terrible and change, It's done and I'm so happy for it. Divorce is completely over and final and I'm free of that nightmare. It's like coming out of the dark of a very long tunnel and finding spring on the other side, when you thought all was winter.
I have the most amazing roommates and the most amazing friends. I love my job and every one of my co-workers. And I have the best costume partner I could hope for.
I know this all sounds very sappy, but I'm just so incredibly grateful for all the amazing people in my life. All the people local to me and all those spread across the world. I love you all. Every last one of you that has come across my page and commented and favorited and watched.
You may not know it, but it was all of you that kept me going. When Everything was gloom and I was so depressed I couldn't even see it. When my marriage was a strangling cage that I couldn't see. It was all the support that I got from you all that kept me from falling down completely.
So thank you. Thank you to all of you that take the time out of your lives and pursuits to be part of my costuming life. I don't know where I would be without you!
If I had you all in person I would squeeze you tight and not let go!
soooo...yeah. I'm going to stop being sappy now. I just want you all to know how much I love and appreciate you and your support.
In other news, last NDK (September 2013) Pan-Pan and I entered the WCS prelims for our 4th time~! We chose the series Guilty Crown. We poured every second of time we had into it and WE WON OUR PRELIM!!! WWOOOHH!!! That means Green Jello Cosplay will be at Acen in May for the WCS Finals! We absolutely cannot wait! If you are going to be at that con, give a shout out and come say hi when we are there! We will be posting on our facebook page as things get closer so people know what we will be wearing.

I keep forgetting that DA exists. It's not quite as easy to post to as some of my other platforms. Still, I really need to get better at keeping this updated.

This was definitely a convention of unintentional adventures! I was stuck at my works booth for most of the event, but on Saturday I was called in to help judge the masquerade (due to scheduling conflicts, They needed an extra hand!) and it was an absolute delight to be involved! We had some phenomenal cosplays come through our room! It's always a joy to see how this community is growing and improving. It makes me want to get in there and be involved. I've mostly stopped competing in the local competitions, so it's wonderful to still get to be involved.

This post is months over due, but AAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! GAIS we WON! I still can't believe it!
We leave for Japan in 2 1/2 weeks! I can't wait! It's an absolute dream come true. Pan-Pan (https://www.deviantart.com/pan-pan) and I have been entering the World Cosplay Summit for 4 years now and this year, we pulled it together! It's really happening!

ATTENTION UTAH COSPLAYERS!! *~Nihon Matsuri~*
This is usually a headline you read a lot earlier in the year, isn't it? WEEellll, that's because the Nihon Matsuri is doing things a little different this year! Instead of the showcase everyone is used to there will instead be a Cosplay Contest! wooh!! Best in Show will be awarded $100!
